Powers-Johnson attended Corner Canyon High School where he played on both the offensive and defensive line. He was a consensus four-star recruit and a top-5 center and a top-200 player nationally by 247Sports. A SI second-team All-American. Named a PrepStar Top 350 All-American. Selected to play in the 2021 Under Armour All-American Game and the 2021 Polynesian Bowl. Earned MaxPreps first-team All-Utah honors following senior season after leading Corner Canyon to a 14-0 record, a 6A state football championship and a No. 8 finish in the MaxPreps Top 25 High School Football Rankings.
A four-year letterman and three-year team captain. Two-time first team all-state pick, three-time first-team All-6A Region 4 selection and one-time second-team All-6A Region 4 pick. Helped team to three straight state championships, including back-to-back 6A state championships in 2019 and 2020 and a 5A state title in 2018. Team finished the 2017 season as the state runner-up. In four years, helped Corner Canyon to a 51-1 record. Played on both sides of the ball finishing career with 124 tackles (42 solo), 20.0 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, seven hurries, two interceptions, eight passes deflected and a forced fumble. Lettered three times in baseball and wrestling.
As A Freshman at Oregon (2021)
Played in 11 games as a true freshman, spending the season on the offensive line before transitioning to the defensive line for the Valero Alamo Bowl. Played 207 total snaps, including 126 on offense, 50 on special teams and 31 on defense . Showed his versatility on the offensive line, playing 80 snaps at right guard, 26 at left guard, and 20 at center. Part of an offense that ranked in the top 25 nationally with 202.26 rushing yards per game and tied for sixth with 36 rushing touchdowns.
As A Sophomore at Oregon (2022)
Played in 12 of Oregon’s 13 games, making first career start at right guard in Oregon’s win over No. 10 Utah. Played 400 offensive snaps while showcasing positional versatility, spending 350 snaps at right guard, 44 at center, five at right tackle and one at left guard. Allowed just two total pressures and zero sacks in 181 pass-blocking opportunities, according to PFF. Pass-blocking grade of 70.0 or better in 10 of 12 games played, and 80.0 or better in seven games. A key contributor to an Oregon offensive line that led the nation with just five sacks allowed, the fewest allowed by a non-triple option team in a full season since 2015. Helped the Ducks finish as the only team in the nation in the top 20 for both rushing offense (12th, 215.77 YPG) and passing offense (17th, 284.8 YPG)

Became the first Duck and the first Pac-12 player ever to win the Rimington Trophy as the nation’s best center. The fifth unanimous all-American in program history, earning first-team honors from the AFCA, Associated Press, FWAA, Sporting News and Walter Camp. Started the first 13 games of the season for the Ducks at center before opting out of the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl to prepare for the NFL Draft. Led all FBS centers in overall (84.3) and run-blocking (85.2) grade by Pro Football Focus while ranking second in pass-blocking grade (90.6). Allowed just one pressure and zero sacks in 471 pass-blocking opportunities, leading an Oregon offensive line that led the nation with just five sacks allowed for the second year in a row. UO also tied for third in the nation with just 44.0 tackles for loss allowed. Helped anchor a UO attack that led the nation in passing offense (346.9 YPG) while ranking second in scoring offense (44.2 PPG), second in total offense (531.4 YPG) and 30th in rushing offense (184.5 YPG). Led the Ducks with 37 total knockdowns on the season, recording multiple in 12 of 13 games played. Two-time winner of the Pac-12 Offensive Lineman of the Week award and three-time winner of the Joe Moore Award Pancake of the Week.
Las Vegas Raiders (2024)
Selected by Las Vegas Raiders in the second round (44th overall) of the 2024 Draft, April 26, 2024. Played in 15 games with 14 starts as a rookie in 2024, playing at both left guard and center. Logged 588 pass blocking snaps in 2024 and allowed just 43 QB pressures (7.3%), the fourth lowest pressure rate allowed among rookie offensive linemen (min. 500 snaps).
Las Vegas Raiders (2025)
Powers-Johnson began the 2025 campaign as the Raiders' Right Guard, starting seven out of his eight appearances before suffering an ankle injury in Week 10 against the Denver Broncos. He was placed on injured reserve on November 11, 2025.

Was the 2020 Gatorade National Football Player of the Year. Earned Max Preps National Player of the Year. Named first-team high school All-America by Sports Illustrated. Earned Desert News Mr. Football. Was part of the Southern California News Group Fab 15 second team as a senior quarterback. Completed 240-of-345 passes (69.6%) for a national-best 4,691 yards and a state-record 67 TDs as a senior at Corner Canyon HS. Also ran for 1,195 yards on 128 carries (9.3 avg) with 12 TDs. Helped lead Corner Canyon to an undefeated season and state title in 2020. Named All-Region as a junior at Roy and threw for 2,440 yards and 22 TDs with eight interceptions. As a sophomore at Roy he was All-Region as he threw for 2,161 yards and 17 TDs with 8 interceptions. In his freshman season, at Roy he threw for 1,396 yards with 11 TDs and 12 interceptions. Overall, Dart finished his high school career with 10,688 passing yards and 117 touchdowns. Also lettered in baseball at Corner Canyon. Named all-state in baseball twice during high school career.
As A Freshman at USC (2021)
Appeared in six games with three starts at quarterback as a true freshman. Completed 62 percent of his passes for 1,353 yards and nine touchdowns. Also ran for two more TDs. Came off the bench vs. Washington State in collegiate debut to throw for a career-high 391 yards and four touchdowns. Tallied 325 passing yards and one touchdown against UCLA. Threw at least one touchdown in five of the six games he played in.
As A Sophomore at Ole Miss (2022)
Started at quarterback for Ole Miss in 12 of 13 games played. Went 226-of-362 for 2,974 yards, 20 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Also rushed for 614 yards on 128 attempts and one touchdown. Was one of six FBS quarterbacks nationally and one of just two in the SEC (LSU’s Jayden Daniels) at both 2,900 yards passing and 600 yards rushing. Ranks as the sixth-best season in Ole Miss history in total offense (3,588), eighth-best in total plays (490), ninth-best in passing touchdowns (20), yards per pass attempt (8.22) and total offense per play (7.32) and 10th-best in passing yards (2,974), passing attempts (362) and passing efficiency (143.6). Ranked SEC top-10 in passing yards per completion (5th), passing yards (6th), passing touchdowns (6th), total offense per game (6th), yards per pass attempt (6th), passing efficiency (7th), passing yards per game (7th, 228.8), completions per game (9th, 17.4) and completion percentage (10th, 62.4). Also ranked 14th nationally and fifth in the SEC among quarterbacks in rushing yards (614). His 361 passing yards ranked as the third-most in Texas Bowl history, and the most since 2018. Broke Ole Miss bowl record for total offense at 427 yards.

Led Ole Miss to its first-ever 11-win season, culminating with a Peach Bowl victory over Penn State. Started all 13 games at quarterback. Ended the season 233-of-358 (65.1 percent) for 3,364 yards, 23 touchdowns and only five interceptions (tied for the fewest in single-season Ole Miss history with at least 200 attempts). Also highly effective on the ground, notching 389 yards and eight scores on 119 total carries. PFF's ninth-best rated passer in 2023 with an 88.7 grade, third-best in the SEC. Also PFF's third-best rushing QB in the SEC at a 79.9 grade. One of three Ole Miss quarterbacks taken in the first round behind Archie Manning (1971, No. 2 overall, New Orleans Saints) and Eli Manning (2004, No. 1 overall, San Diego Chargers/New York Giants). As a Rebel, put together a career passing line of 735-of-1,118 (65.7 percent) for 10,617 yards, 72 touchdowns and 22 interceptions with a passing efficiency of 162.8 and a per-game average of 272.2 yards in 39 total games played and 38 starts. Added 1,498 yards and 12 touchdowns rushing on 371 attempts, good for 38.4 yards per game and 4.0 yards per carry. Finished with 12,115 yards of total offense on 1,489 total plays, good for 310.6 yards per game
New York Giants (2025)
Dart was announced as the new starting quarterback in the Week 4 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. In his first start, the Giants beat the then-undefeated Chargers on September 28 and Dart completed 13-of-20 passes for 111 yards and adding a rushing touchdown. On October 9, Dart defeated the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles, completing 17-of-25 passes for 195 yards and rushing 13 times for 58 yards. He joined Patrick Mahomes as the only quarterbacks since at least 1991 to lead their teams to an opening-drive touchdown in each of their first three career starts. In the Week 10 game against the Chicago Bears, Dart scored two rushing touchdowns and became the first quarterback in history to run for a touchdown in five consecutive games. Dart finished his rookie season with 2,272 passing yards, fifteen passing touchdowns, 5 interceptions, 487 rushing yards, nine rushing touchdowns and a 4–8 record.

Wilson attended Corner Canyon High School, where he played high school football. He passed for 2,986 yards and 24 touchdowns while also rushing for 752 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior. Led Corner Canyon to the 5A state semifinals, region championship and an 11-1 overall record. Runner-up for Utah Mr. Football. Named 5A MVP and first-team all-state selection. Threw for 2,708 yards and 20 touchdowns to go along with 539 rushing yards as a junior. Also played varsity basketball.
As a Freshman at BYU (2018)
Youngest freshman quarterback to start for BYU . Played in nine games, starting seven. Completed 120 of 182 passes for 1,578 yards and 12 touchdowns. Fifth on the team in rushing with 221 yards on 75 attempts and two touchdowns. Went 16 for 24 for 194 yards for the highest pass efficiency rating of a BYU true freshman quarterback in their first start at 167.5. Threw for three touchdowns in the game against Hawai'i which is the most by a true freshman QB in their first start. Totaled four combined touchdowns (passing/running) which is the most combined touchdowns in a game by a true freshman in their first start. Went a perfect 18 for 18 for a season-high and team-high 317 yards with a 70 yard season-long pass against Western Michigan in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. Named MVP of the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
As a Sophomore at BYU (2019)
Started nine games. Completed 199 of 319 passes for 2,382, 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Ran for 167 yards and three touchdowns. Passed for at least 200 yards in eight of nine starts. Had two 300-yard games (Toledo and SDSU). Threw for four touchdowns at Umass, tying a career high. Career-best 72 rushing yards and two touchdowns against Hawai'i. 2019 Maxwell Award watch list nominee. 2019 CFPA National Performer of the Year watch list nominee.

As a junior in 2020, Wilson started 12 games and completed 247 of 336 passes for 3,692 yards, 33 touchdowns and three interceptions while rushing for 255 yards and 10 touchdowns, breaking Steve Young's school completion percentage in a season at 73.5 percent. He helped lead BYU to a 10–1 regular season mark. He was named the offensive MVP of the 2020 Boca Raton Bowl after completing 26 of 34 passes for 425 yards and three touchdowns in the 49–23 victory over the UCF Knights. Finished the 2020 season ranked No. 2 nationally in points responsible for (264), passing efficiency (196.4) and completion percentage (73.5); No. 3 in passing yards (3,692), passing touchdowns (33), yards per pass attempt (10.99) and points responsible for per game (22.0); No. 4 in rushing touchdowns by a quarterback (10); No. 5 in passing yards per completion (14.95); No. 8 in total offense (328.8); and No. 10 in passing yards per game (307.7). Achieved a 96.5 Clean Pocket Grade from PFF — ranking the highest in the nation and set a new PFF record for an overall passing grade at 95.5 topping Joe Burrow’s 94.9 in 2019.
New York Jets (2021)
A top quarterback prospect in the 2021 NFL draft, Wilson was selected second overall by the New York Jets. He was the second of five quarterbacks taken in the first round and the highest-ever drafted from BYU. In his debut against the Carolina Panthers, Wilson had an interception in the first half, but finished with 258 passing yards, two touchdowns, and a rushing 2-point conversion in the 19–14 defeat. Wilson earned his first career win against the Tennessee Titans in Week 4. Wilson threw two touchdowns and completed 21 of 34 passes for 297 yards, with the team going on to win 27–24 in overtime. Wilson finished his rookie season with 2,334 passing yards, nine passing touchdowns, 11 interceptions, 185 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns and a 3–10 record.
New York Jets (2022)
Wilson made his season debut in Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers and had a 2-yard receiving touchdown from wide receiver Braxton Berrios and led the Jets on a fourth quarter comeback drive to secure the 24–20 victory. The victory began a four-game winning streak for the Jets. New York's streak ended with a 22–17 loss to the Patriots, in which Wilson had a career-high 355 passing yards and two touchdowns. Wilson rebounded the following week when he completed 18 of 25 passes for 154 yards and a touchdown to help secure a 20–17 upset over the Buffalo Bills. Wilson finished his season season with 1,688 passing yards, six passing touchdowns, 7 interceptions, 102 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown and a 5-4 record.
New York Jets (2023)
After the Jets acquired four-time MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Wilson was named Rodgers' backup for the 2023 season, but took the field in the Week 1 Monday Night Football matchup against the Bills when Rodgers suffered a season-ending injury on his first drive. Wilson completed 14 of 21 passes for 140 yards, a touchdown in the 22–16 victory. He was subsequently promoted to starting quarterback. Wilson had a strong performance against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football, throwing for 245 yards and 2 touchdowns to overcome a 17–0 deficit to tie the game at 20. However, he lost a fumble in the fourth quarter that allowed Kansas City to win 23–20. Wilson led the Jets to three straight wins the following weeks, including an upset win over the reigning NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles, as well as driving 58 yards in 24 seconds with no timeouts on the game-tying drive against the Giants. Against the Texans Wilson completed 27 of 36 passes for 301 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions as the Jets won 30–6. He also finished the game with a 117.9 passer rating, the highest mark of his career. Wilson was named American Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his performance. Wilson finished his season season with 2,271 passing yards, eight passing touchdowns, 7 interceptions, 211 rushing yards, and a 4-7 record.
Denver Broncos (2024)
On April 23, 2024, the Denver Broncos announced that they had acquired Wilson and a 2024 seventh-round pick from the Jets in exchange for a 2024 sixth-round pick. The Broncos declined the fifth-year option on Wilson's contract, making him a free agent after the 2024 season. Denver announced that Wilson would begin the season as the team’s third-string quarterback, behind Bo Nix and Jarrett Stidham. He did not appear in a game during the season.
Miami Dolphins (2025)
On March 17, 2025, Wilson signed a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins. Wilson played in 4 games for the Miami Dolphins.
New Orleans Saints (2026)
On March 26, 2026, Wilson signed a one-year contract with the New Orleans Saints.
